Profeti della Quinta

WINNERS OF THE YORK EARLY MUSIC YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION

Founded in Israel, the vocal ensemble Profeti della Quinta aims to create vivid and expressive performances of music from the 16th and early 17th centuries for audiences today. Profeti della Quinta was featured in the 2012 documentary “Hebreo: the Search for Salomone Rossi”, by Joseph Rochlitz, filmed in Mantua.

Now based in Switzerland, the ensemble performs regularly in various festivals and venues in Europe and Israel, such as the Oude Muziek Festival in Utrecht (the Netherlands), the Festival von Vlaanderen (Belgium), and the Biennale alter Musik Berlin.
